Royal Little Sisters' Pre-Holiday celebration event held on December 16, 2023 at the Mantua Civic Association focused on the meaning and principles of Kwanzaa.

 

In collaboration with the Better Bike Share Partnership, Royal Little Sisters hosted their free interactive educational event with over 60 participants and sponsored activities that included the following: Kwanzaa Bingo; guest speakers and vendors; learning and playing with the African drums and other musical instruments, and dancing; tasting a variety of botanical juices (containing ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, and water) by pHresKoo’s juice bar, and a delicious free lunch all to bring awareness and increase knowledge of Kwanzaa and its African-American culture celebration.
